What equipment is needed to start a bottled water plant?
To start a bottled water plant, you need an integrated system—not just standalone machines. Chuxin Mingwei delivers site-specific, non-standard production lines engineered around your actual water source, target quality (e.g., purified vs. spring), packaging format (bottles or barrels), and facility constraints.
Core equipment depends on your product type:
- For bottled purified water: Pre-treatment (multi-media + activated carbon + softening), dual-stage RO system, ozone/UV sterilization, fully automatic bottle washing-filling-capping machine (e.g., 200–2,500 bottles/hour for 18.9L), and food-grade labeling/packaging units.
- For bottled spring/mineral water: NF + UF membrane process (to retain minerals), precision filling (≤ ±2 mL accuracy), and cleanroom-integrated air filtration (ISO Class 8 certified).
- For barrelled water: Modular wash-fill-seal line with triple-layer disinfection (internal wash + ozone + UV), compatible with 10–22L PC/ABS barrels, plus automated barrel-wrapping and palletizing support.
Preparation required: You must provide your raw water test report (TDS, hardness, iron/manganese, microbiology), target standard (e.g., GB 19298, FDA 21 CFR), hourly capacity, bottle/barrel dimensions, and facility layout—including power supply, drainage, ceiling height, and cleanroom zoning needs.
Service boundary: Chuxin Mingwei handles full engineering services—design, manufacturing, on-site installation, commissioning, operator training, and after-sales maintenance—but does not supply PET preforms, labels, or consumables. We do not offer turnkey factory construction or civil works.
Next step: Share your water source, target quality, capacity, packaging format, and facility details via our Solution Consultation form—we’ll respond within 48 hours with a tailored equipment list, process flow diagram, and preliminary budget.
