FAQ

What specific factory space and utility requirements must be met before installing a bottled spring water filling line?

To install a fully automatic bottled spring water filling line, a minimum of 120–180 square meters of clear floor space is required for equipment layout, including buffer zones for raw water storage, purification units, bottle handling, filling stations, capping modules, inspection systems, and packaging integration. The facility must provide stable utilities: a dedicated 3-phase 380V power supply with grounding (minimum 15 kW), compressed air at 6–8 bar with oil content below 0.01 mg/m³, and cooling water at 15–25°C with flow rate ≥2 m³/h. Raw water quality must allow for dual-membrane NF + UF purification; if source water exceeds 500 µS/cm conductivity or contains >10 NTU turbidity, pre-treatment infrastructure must be added. A dedicated 10 m³ raw water tank and 15 m³ finished water storage tank are required to balance short-term fluctuations during CIP cleaning cycles and peak production. Cleanroom conditions must meet ISO Class 8 standards, supported by an integrated HEPA filtration system with airflow ≥3,000 m³/h. Installation is only feasible in facilities with structural load capacity ≥500 kg/m² and vertical clearance ≥4.5 meters. All specifications are validated through project-specific material balance calculations prior to commissioning.
