Can a single filling line handle both bottled water and carbonated beverages with quick changeover?
No — Chuxin Mingwei’s standard bottled water filling lines (e.g., ID#59 purified water line or ID#60 spring water line) are not engineered for carbonated beverage production. Carbonated beverages require pressure-rated filling valves, precise CO₂ dosing control, degassing pre-treatment, and fully sealed bottle handling to maintain carbonation stability — none of which are part of our current water line architecture. Our lines use gravity or low-pressure isobaric filling, optimized exclusively for non-carbonated drinking water (pH 6.5–8.5, zero dissolved CO₂), with verified performance metrics — such as ±2 mL filling accuracy and ≥99.6% capping pass rate — confirmed only under those non-carbonated, ambient-pressure conditions. Introducing carbonation would exceed mechanical design limits: valve seals may leak under backpressure, fill volume consistency degrades due to gas expansion, cap torque integrity cannot be guaranteed, and uncontrolled CO₂ release poses operational safety risks. Quick changeover between these product types is not feasible without hardware-level redesign. If dual-product operation is required, the only viable path is a custom-engineered multi-format line — involving reconfigured filling stations, integrated pressure monitoring, modified PLC logic for gas-liquid synchronization, and full functional validation against your specific product parameters (e.g., target CO₂ volume, bottle type, fill temperature, and minimum batch size). This scope requires site-specific engineering review and cannot be implemented as a retrofit.
